Bride: Tricia + Benjamin
For Tricia Lopez Ayllon, love has always felt a little like magic, the kind that is written in the stars and sealed with faith, creativity, and courage. When she met Benjamin Muñiz Matlack, she knew her story was about to become something extraordinary.
After dating for two and a half years, Benjamin proposed in a way that could have been pulled straight from a fairytale. It happened on May 1, 2024, at the close of a show Tricia produced and performed in called The Clouet Gardens Circus Show in the Bywater. “I knew something was up,” she laughs. “He wanted to buy champagne, and he never drinks champagne. Then I noticed he was nervous, and he’s never nervous for shows.” As the final song played, Benjamin pulled a small box from his bag while the audience began filming. “I was so nervous I could barely keep dancing,” Tricia recalls. “He cut the song short and proposed. It was magical.”
