Bumbling into Love

It only took a few months on Bumble for Jenna Luteman to see Jordan Folse’s profile and swipe right, and when the two of them actually met, they both realized they were a great match. “He was so cute, and I loved his sense of humor,” Jenna says of what immediately drew her to Jordan. “He’s always making me laugh.”

Three years of dating later, Jordan knew that he wanted Jenna to be his wife. “He kept the proposal simple and quaint,” recalls Jenna, who owns J. Renee’ Color Studio in Covington, while Jordan works as a registered nurse in home healthcare. “I walked into our kitchen when I got home from work, and he had roses and champagne waiting on the counter. I knew something was up, and before I knew it he was down on one knee!”

Just over a year later, on November 12, 2021, Jenna wore a classic, off-the-shoulder fit-to-flare gown as she walked down the aisle at Jacmel Inn in Hammond to meet Jordan at the altar. As their family watched, the two exchanged vows, with a close friend of Jordan’s officiating. “He was so nervous, but he did such a great job, and we had a blast at the ceremony,” Jenna says. “One thing that made it so incredibly special was that we kept the ceremony private, with only our family around us. We each have one sibling, so they stood by us, and that was it!”
