In a world where stories of survival often remain hidden, Unbranded shines as a beacon of hope for those who have endured unimaginable trauma. Founded with a mission to serve survivors of sex trafficking who have been branded—quite literally—with tattoos that mark ownership, Unbranded offers a path to healing through state-of-the-art laser tattoo removal.
The journey began with a moment of realization. The owner of First Down Healthcare & Aesthetics already had the technology for tattoo removal in their office. But a chance encounter turned it into something far more meaningful. Inspired by a program helping ex-convicts remove tattoos for a fresh start, the team at Unbranded saw another urgent need—helping survivors of sex trafficking reclaim their identities. A conversation with Courtney Lewis and a moving seminar featuring a trafficking survivor turned that idea into action.
