SuperDad: Colin MacIver

At 45, Colin MacIver wears many hats—minister, musician, author, teacher, speaker—but his favorite title will always be “Dad.” For more than two decades, he and his wife Aimee have lived a shared mission: to serve God, love their children well, and help others encounter both. That mission runs through everything they do—from leading ministry at St. Anselm and co-authoring award-winning books to raising two deeply loved children, Leo and Zelie.

Colin spent 17 years as campus minister at St. Scholastica Academy and will soon begin a new role at Jesuit High School as Senior Director of Evangelization. He’s also the youth minister at St. Anselm, a musician, and a published author with Ascension. His work is rooted in service—but his foundation is at home. “Being a husband first makes me a better father,” he says. “And doing both well helps me serve others better. Loving God first makes all of the other things possible.”
