The Northshore Bounty
Founded nearly thirty years ago by Reverend Kathy Abrams, this mission began with a simple vision placed on her heart by God: to ensure that no one on the Northshore spends Thanksgiving hungry or alone. What started as a small act of obedience has grown into a beautiful tradition that now serves more than 600 people each year.
Each Thanksgiving Day, volunteers from across the community gather at the Family Life Center of St. Timothy on the Northshore Methodist Church to prepare and serve hundreds of traditional, home-cooked meals. Guests can dine in, pick up meals, or receive home deliveries, reaching families, assisted living residents, first responders, and those without access to electricity or shelter. Every plate is prepared with care and prayer, offering not just nourishment but comfort, belonging, and the reminder that they are seen and loved.
