Serving as District Judge in Division G since 2013, and overseeing Family Preservation Court since 2017, his role carries both structure and weight, often beginning long before the sun rises.

Many days start in the early hours with urgent calls involving children in unsafe situations. By morning, the work shifts into a full schedule of court proceedings, case reviews, and ongoing coordination with social workers, attorneys, and support teams. Behind each case is a layered story, one that requires both legal discernment and human understanding.

At the heart of his work is a belief that the law can be a tool for restoration. Family Preservation Court focuses not only on accountability, but also on providing parents with structure, resources, and support to break cycles of neglect and abuse. Through consistent guidance and relationship-building, families are given the opportunity to rebuild stability and move forward with intention.
