The couple dated for three years before saying “I do” on May 24, 2025. Their proposal was as unexpected as it was unforgettable. During a trip to New Orleans, the pair enjoyed one of their favorite pastimes: eating their way through the city. After dinner at Deanie’s Seafood, David insisted on stopping for donuts. Amanda, already full, could not understand his determination. Later, while relaxing on the balcony of their Airbnb overlooking Magazine Street, he once again offered her a donut. When she declined, slightly annoyed, he dropped to one knee, pulled out a ring, and said, “Well, how about a ring instead?” Completely surprised, Amanda laughed through tears and happily said yes.
