Amanda Bravender
At 37, Amanda is the owner of Brave Living LLC, the umbrella company for two creative businesses: The Brave Farmer and AHB Makeup. Through The Brave Farmer, she operates a small honey farm and humane live bee rescue service. Through AHB Makeup, she provides hair, makeup, wig, and special effects services for opera, ballet, theater productions, weddings, and special events. Her work may take her from a bee rescue in Louisiana to backstage at a production across the country, but home is always where her greatest role begins.
Amanda and her husband are raising five children: James, Jonah, Joshua, Jaxon, and their youngest, Fay Monroe. With children ranging from ages 4 to 16, their multigenerational home is rarely quiet, but Amanda would not have it any other way.
