Community Leader: Trey Brownfield

Trey Brownfield, a devoted husband and father of two, has dedicated his life to serving others, with a deep commitment to his community that began at a young age. From his early involvement in various ministries at his church to his impactful volunteer work at Ohana Pier, Trey has always been driven by a passion for helping those in need. At Ohana Pier, he provided support to teens facing challenges like self-harm, bullying, and family issues, creating a safe space for them to find guidance and hope. Even after his time at Ohana Pier ended, Trey continued his ministry, often found at the local tennis courts, reaching out to the youth in his community.

As Trey’s love for his community grew, so did his involvement. He became a dedicated Rotarian, and in his first year, was elected chair of Public Relations. His passion for community service led him to join the Heritage Festival board, where he served as the public relations and sponsorship chair. In 2020, Trey’s leadership skills were recognized when he became the chairman of the Slidell Heritage Festival, a role he continues to fulfill with great dedication.
