Brooke Barisich, now Brooke Jackson, and her husband Christian Jackson’s love story is truly one for the ages—a tale that spans continents and reflects their shared passions, heart for service, and love for adventure. Their wedding on November 11, 2023, was the culmination of a whirlwind romance, one they orchestrated while living across multiple countries.
Brooke and Christian met in Haiti in February 2022, where their individual missions aligned and their hearts intertwined. After dating for just over a year, Christian pulled off an extraordinary proposal in Dallas, Texas. It was a plan full of love, friends, family, and the perfect surprise. Brooke thought she was on her way to one of Christian’s annual trips with friends in Colorado, only to find herself being whisked away to a beautiful setup at White Rock Lake, where Christian had a proposal filled with candles, flowers, and photos waiting for her. Not only were both their families there to celebrate, but Christian had also gathered 50 of their closest friends from around the world to join in the festivities that weekend. Brooke describes it as “one of my favorite memories” and a testament to the thoughtfulness and love Christian poured into every detail.
