Renee Christman
For Renee Christman, some of life’s most meaningful moments have a way of coming full circle. She grew up in St. Tammany Parish, built a life and raised a family here, and today, she has the privilege of caring for people in the very community that raised her.
As an Integrative Oncology Nurse Practitioner at St. Tammany Health System, Renee walks alongside patients during one of the most difficult seasons of their lives. Her role brings together two things that have always come naturally to her: teaching and caring for others.
Through integrative oncology, Renee educates patients on holistic approaches to managing treatment side effects, maintaining quality of life and staying on course with their treatment plans. Her care does not necessarily end when treatment does. She also supports patients throughout survivorship, helping provide the knowledge and tools they need to live well after cancer.
